Frequently asked questions

Everything our travelers ask before, during and after booking — straight from our local team in Tam Coc.

Booking & confirmation

Do I need to create an account to book a ticket?

No. You can book any trip as a guest using just your name, phone and email. An account only helps you track multiple bookings in one place.

How will I receive my ticket?

After booking you'll get an instant email confirmation, and a WhatsApp message from our local team within 30 minutes confirming pickup time and driver contact.

How far in advance should I book?

In low season (May–September) one day ahead is enough. From October to April or during Vietnamese holidays, book 2–3 days ahead to guarantee a seat.

Can I book for multiple passengers in one transaction?

Yes — choose the number of passengers on the booking form. Group discounts apply automatically for 4+ passengers on most routes.

What if my preferred date is sold out?

Contact us via WhatsApp or hotline. We work with multiple operators per route and can usually find an alternative within 1–2 hours of your preferred time.

Payment & cancellation

When and how do I pay?

Most routes are pay-on-pickup in cash (USD or VND) to the driver. Online prepayment via card or VietQR is also available — just choose at checkout.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes — free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Within 24 hours, a 50% fee may apply. No-show is non-refundable.

Are refunds processed quickly?

Card refunds appear within 5–7 business days. VietQR/bank refunds within 24 hours. Cash bookings have nothing to refund unless paid in advance.

Do you charge a booking fee?

No hidden fees. The price you see is the total price you pay — including booking fee, taxes and hotel pickup where available.

Can I change passenger names after booking?

Yes for bus and boat tickets, free of charge up to 12 hours before departure. Flight tickets follow the airline's name-change policy and may incur a fee.

Luggage, vehicles & seats

How much luggage can I bring?

One carry-on (under 7 kg) plus one checked bag (under 20 kg) on bus and flight tickets. Boat tours carry-on only — leave large bags at your hotel.

Are there seat belts on sleeper buses?

Modern G8 cabin sleepers and limousine vans are required to have seat belts. Older open-route buses may not — let us know if you need a confirmed seatbelt seat.

Can I choose my seat?

Limousine vans: yes (window/aisle, front/back). Sleeper buses: lower beds for extra ~$2, upper beds default. Boats: open seating.

Are vehicles air-conditioned?

All buses, vans and most boat tours are air-conditioned. Open boat tours in Trang An / Tam Coc are not — they're traditional rowboats.

Is there Wi-Fi on board?

Limousine vans and most overnight sleepers have free Wi-Fi and USB charging. Local buses and boats do not.

Pickup, drop-off & travel day

Is hotel pickup included?

Yes — free pickup at any hotel within Tam Coc village. For other locations (Ninh Binh city, Trang An), a small surcharge or meeting point applies.

How early should I be ready?

Be ready at your hotel lobby 10 minutes before the pickup time we send you. Drivers cannot wait long because of strict departure schedules.

What if my driver is late?

Call our 24/7 hotline immediately. Vans run on a tight loop — if there's a delay, we'll text you a new ETA within 5 minutes.

Where will I be dropped off in Hanoi/Sapa/Hue?

Drop-off in the city centre (Old Quarter for Hanoi, Sapa town centre, Hue Imperial side). Hotel drop-off in central areas is included; remote areas may incur a small Grab fare.

Do you provide stops on long journeys?

Yes — overnight buses stop every 3–4 hours at restrooms with food. Daytime trips stop once for a 15–20 minute break.
